Balloon Spectacular – Day 3
Balloon Spectacular – Day 2
Yey! Â The balloons are launching in front of Old Parliament House. Â Best viewing at Old Parliament House to see the shapes or between Questacon and the Lake to see the majority of the Balloons.![IMG_5735[1]](https://demo.balloonaloftcanberra.com.au/wp-content/plugins/lazy-load/images/1x1.trans.gif)

Balloon Spectacular – Day 1
Day 1 of the Canberra Festival Balloon Spectacular, saw beautiful weather and sucessfull flying.
Unfortunately for our spectators on the ground the wind didn’t co-operate, so the balloons didn’t launch from in front of Old Parliament House. Most of the balloons went out beyond Weston Creek to launch at Stromlo and Coppins Crossing.
For those who did come out to Old Parliament House we saw 5 balloons tether including the two Kangaroos – Tom and Polly. The RAAF offered tethered rides for those willing to wait for a turn.
The weather looks very promising for tomorrow. We suggest you come out to the Lawns in front of Old Parliament House from 6.30am. For updates on whether the balloons will be launching there listen to Mix 106.3 or ABC 666 radio, or call Canberra Connect on 13 22 81.
